Women in Medtech Forum: Driving Healthcare Forward: Lessons in Leadership and Innovation
Wednesday, December 4, 2024 (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM) (EST)
Description
In the last few years, we have seen dramatic shifts in the healthcare industry. From telemedicine becoming commonplace to remote patient monitoring routine, healthcare is coming into the home. While meeting patients where they are in their own homes is an obvious next step for increasing efficiencies and patient engagement, the unknowns in this ecosystem are sometimes referred to as the “Wild West.” It also presents exciting new opportunities to close the gap on healthcare disparities by providing patients with a mechanism to receive care on their terms.
This Women in Medtech Forum will discuss the evolution of connected care, what it means for the medical device industry and what considerations still need to be addressed in order to make a vision of healthcare in the home a reality.
