You are invited to join us for an in-person Women in Medtech Forum at the Campus at Marlborough by our hosts Hologic!
Our conversation will focus around Hologic's recent Women's Health Index, including findings from the second year of the report and future plans to address relevant issues. Our panel of industry experts, including diagnostic, device companies and investors who focus on women's health issues will then have a robust discussion about women's health needs and how to collaborate to improve upon them.

Speakers
 Elizabeth Bailey, M.A. Managing Director Rhia Ventures' RH Capital | Elizabeth Bailey serves as Managing Director of Rhia Ventures' RH Capital, an impact venture fund investing in transformative innovation for women's health. She has over 20 years of experience in venture capital and supporting early-stage healthcare companies. As a Partner at Commons Capital, one of the first impact investment funds, Elizabeth managed the healthcare and education portfolios, which included Claros Diagnostics (acquired by OPKO), CodeRyte (acquired by 3M), HistoRx (acquired by Genoptix), Medical Metrx Solutions (acquired by AIG), TelaDoc (IPO: TDOC) and Apex Learning (acquired by Education Growth Partners). Elizabeth also served as the Founding Director for the Consortium for Affordable Medical Technologies (CAMTech) at Mass General Hospital, where she built a global program to accelerate medtech innovation and catalyze investment in new health startups. She earned a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government and a BA from Brown University. Throughout her career, Elizabeth has been an advocate of the power of business to drive social change. |
 Sonal Patel Vice President, Corporate Business Development and Strategy Hologic | Sonal Patel is Vice President, Corporate Business Development and Strategy, with Hologic, Inc., an innovative medical technology company primarily focused on improving women's health and well-being through early detection and treatment. Sonal has close to 20 years of experience in business development, strategy, and marketing roles within the MedTech industry. She joined Hologic in 2016 and is focused on defining and executing the company’s inorganic business development efforts. |
 Oriana Papin-Zoghbi CEO and Co-Founder AOA Dx | Oriana Papin-Zoghbi is the CEO and Co-Founder of AOA Dx, a YC backed biotech company focused on early-stage ovarian cancer detection. She has a proven record in women’s health and driving product launches in new markets, including launching nationwide HPV screening in East Africa and novel diagnostics in maternal fetal medicine. Oriana has received numerous awards in entrepreneurship for her work in women's health, including the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center MassNextGen Award and The Wave Summit's Emerging Women Founder in Bio Award. She has international experience, having both worked and lived in various geographies and has focused her career in increasing access to care for women globally. |
