MassMEDIC is proud to host an info session for the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center’s (MLSC) Tax Incentive program. Join us on Jan. 22, 2025 at 12 p.m. to learn more about how the program provides incentives to companies engaged in life sciences research and development, commercialization and manufacturing in Massachusetts looking to expand their efforts by creating new, long-term jobs in the state.
If your life sciences company is expecting to hire at least 10 net new jobs (or in some cases 5) in 2025, the Tax Incentive program can offer incentives starting at $16,000 per job, with priority given to companies focused on manufacturing, women’s health, cell and gene therapy, and improving health equity, access, and affordability.

 | Peter Breiling, Chief Financial Officer Peter Breiling is a seasoned finance professional with over 30 years of experience in both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) 3 years ago as the Chief Financial Officer, he worked for a major airline, a large hotel company, and the Massachusetts Port Authority, which operates Logan Airport. He oversees the finance department at the MLSC, which runs the Tax Incentive Program each year. |
 | Ciara Murphy, Controller Ciara Murphy is an experienced financial controller with over 7 years of financial management expertise in the non-profit/government sector, complemented by a solid background of 10 years in public accounting. In addition to her role as Controller at MLSC, she also acts as program manager for the Center’s Tax Incentive Program. |
 | Jeanne LeClair, Chief Business Officer Jeanne joined the MLSC in October 2020 and currently serves as the Chief Business Officer, building relationships with key industry stakeholders, public agencies, and runs the Pathmaker workforce partnerships program. Prior to joining the MLSC, Jeanne served in economic development and community roles. |
