MDMA is hosting a no-cost Webinar on Tuesday, October 19th from 2:30pm - 3:30pm ET with representatives from the U.S. Department of Commerce to discuss their recently announced Request of Information (RFI) on the risks in the semiconductor supply chain (LINK to RFI). The Department is requesting information from chips manufacturers and chips end-users, like the device industry, to better understand the supply chain for chips and minimize the impact of the current shortage. Device manufacturers are small buyers of chips relative to the automobile and consumer goods industries, but the chips we use are critical to public health and relied upon in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope that your company will attend this webinar to learn more about the RFI. 

Our industry's collective participation in the RFI will help frame future policy decisions with the goal of prioritizing chip allocation to support medical device manufacturing. Registration is limited to medical device companies & State Trade Associations
