Evaluating the Feasibility of 3D-printed Parts for Medical Pressure-related Devices

Wednesday, February 24, 2021 (12:00 PM - 12:45 PM) (EST)

Description

Critical supplies were in high demand and short supply during the onset of the COVID pandemic. Among these crucial supplies were ventilators. EWI acted quickly to assist with the national effort to address this crisis by setting up an internal R&D project to determine the feasibility of using 3D-printed parts to meet the short-term demand. The successful results show potential for part replacement and repair in many applications.

Join EWI’s Jeff Ellis and Dan Kowalik to learn more about the study during our EWI Webinar: Evaluating the Feasibility of 3D-printed Parts for Medical Pressure-related Devices on Wednesday, February 24th from 12:00 – 12: 45 PM EST. Lewis Crenshaw, an FDA FUA specialist from TC Medical Company (TCMC) will also provide information on emergency filings.
