Regulators are increasingly focused on the hazards surrounding endocrine-disrupting chemicals. In two recent developments: 

• The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) classified endocrine disruption as a serious health and environmental hazard.
• The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Endocrine Disruptor Screening Program (EDSP) requested new mammalian endocrine studies for some conventional pesticides.
