AI-Driven Innovation: Transforming MedTech for Manufacturers with Quebec’s Leading Solutions

Thursday, November 7, 2024 (1:00 PM - 2:00 PM) (EST)

Description

Quebec is rapidly emerging as a global leader in AI, driven by a thriving ecosystem of academic research, government support, and innovative companies. This AI expertise is playing a pivotal role in advancing industries like Medtech, where AI solutions are transforming manufacturing processes. Quebec’s cutting-edge AI expertise helps MedTech manufacturers optimize operations, improve product quality, and meet regulatory requirements in a highly competitive market.

Don’t miss this opportunity to discover how Quebec’s AI-driven innovations can propel your organization forward and improve your manufacturing processes.

This session will feature insights from two Québec companies: Optel and Vooban, who have grown out of this strong Québec ecosystem.

Attendees will learn:

  • How to build out digital, intelligent supply chain processes that protect brand and product integrity with minimal disruption to production lines. Optel, along with their American partner Lexmark, will detail how an AI supported project on unit level serialization, mobile authentication and data aggregation was key to a successful investigation of counterfeit products
  • How integrating AI models can improve operational efficiency. Vooban will detail a number of case studies, including a project with an orthopedic implants manufacturer whose use of Vooban’s AI model for defect recognition performed at more than 99% accuracy, all while generating less than 3% of false rejects
  • How Québec has federated government actors, research institutions, and private sector partners to accelerate their AI ecosystem in the medtech sector
