MassMEDIC and MassBIO Form Alliance to Support Convergence in Life Sciences Industry & Provide Greater Value for Members

MassMEDIC members now eligible for reciprocal benefits from MassBIO

The Massachusetts Biotechnology Council (MassBio) and the Massachusetts Medical Device Industry Council (MassMEDIC) today announced a formal alliance to support further convergence in the life sciences industry and provide greater value for members. The alliance includes coordinated policy and communications efforts, program discounts for MassMEDIC and MassBio members, joint programming around professional development and networking, and access to MassBio’s expanded member savings program, New England Edge.

It’s up to our collective organizations to support further convergence in Massachusetts, and that means more coordinated activities and shared resources,” said Robert K. Members from both organizations will enjoy exclusive access to certain networking events and programming, with the goal of bringing together biopharma and medical device companies to solve our toughest unmet medical needs. The alliance will also aggregate the purchasing power of each organizations’ member companies to allow them to have a strong presence in the marketplace and benefit from competitive discounts and premier customer service through MassBio’s New England Edge.
