Senior Program Coordinator
Remote (within the U.S.)
VentureWell is seeking a qualified candidate for a Senior Program Coordinator to join the organization’s Commercialization Vertical. The position is intended to provide programmatic and administrative support to VentureWell partners within the Blueprint MedTech Incubator Hubs initiative. Blueprint MedTech Incubator Hubs is a new multi-center NIH program aimed to accelerate the development of cutting-edge technologies intended to diagnose or treat disorders involving the nervous system. This initiative addresses challenges to neurotech translation by providing innovators with direct funds, ongoing specialized support from experienced executive mentors, and additional commercialization related resources and support services to de-risk the technology. The Blueprint Incubator Hubs program is administered by two collaborating centers, CINTA and Neurotech Harbor (the Hubs) with support from commercialization partners and external reviewers, committees, and boards. Both Hubs manage incoming innovator proposals and awards that encompass a broad mix of translational neurotechnologies.
To efficiently execute programmatic objectives, the Senior Program Coordinator is expected to facilitate and track intra and inter-hub activities and oversee administrative communications, tasks and processes.
The ideal candidate should be highly organized, able to work with and across diverse organizations and functional areas and be highly accessible. This position will report directly to the Senior Program Officer in Biomedical Engineering (BME).
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate program communications, documentation and interactions between hubs and across hub cores
- Schedule meetings, inform attendees, and confirm attendance
- Attend hub and core meetings and assist with facilitation and notetaking
- Keep action item list with owners and due dates, facilitate review of these at meetings, and communicate these to responsible parties
- Be the initial point of contact for questions on action item, schedule, and process for hub, cores, and sponsoring organizations
- Understand the workflow and processes used in the program
- Recognize and make known conflicts and/or gaps
- Assist with planning and coordination of the program
- Understand the roles & responsibilities of each hub individual and core
- Monitor implementation of program policies and practices
- Prepare documentation required for discussions, reviews, and reporting
What You Bring:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience coordinating large and/or complex programs
- Experience working with and across diverse organizations (academic, government, and private sector)
- Experience working with and across functional areas (administrative, product development marketing, finance, etc.)
- Adeptness at interacting with senior staff in diverse organizations
- Exceptional communication, organization, and planning skills
- Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Highly responsive and comfortable with a flexible work schedule that may include interacting with partner organizations outside of standard business hours and/or on weekends (on occasion)
- Minimal travel required (-10%)

- a salary range of $85-95K commensurate with experience and internal equity
- 403 (b) with 200% match up to a maximum contribution from VentureWell of 10% when the employee puts it 5% (eligible after one year of service for the match)
