Senior Manager of Global Tax – Woburn Ma

Our current lead product is a targeted radiation therapy for liver tumors called SIR-Spheres® Y-90 resin microspheres. More than 100,000 doses have been supplied to treat patients with liver cancer at more than 1,300 medical centers in over 50 countries.

The Senior Manager of Global Tax will develop, implement and monitor on corporate tax policy to optimize tax expenses while achieving tax compliances worldwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, execute and monitor the Corporation’s global tax strategy including implementation of global tax policies.
  • Cooperate with Transfer Pricing consultants to update the benchmarking and decide on the correct transfer pricing ratios annually to make sure the ratios best reflect the business performance;
  • Work with regional controllers and tax consultants to ensure tax returns are been prepared and filed correctly and timely. Review and understand the book to tax variances of each entity to ensure reasonableness.
  • Coordinate of Global direct, audits and indirect tax compliance and requirements.
  • Prepare half-year and full-year tax provisions for the group.
  • Prepare all tax journals monthly on the consolidation level.
  • Coordinate R&D tax concession application.
  • Advice on impact of new or proposed legislation, decisions, regulations and rulings in tax and related areas;
  • Ensure compliance with legal, professional and ethical standards.
  • Other ad-hoc projects as directed by the Global Financial Controller.

EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in taxation is a must-have.
  • Five years’ relevant international taxation experience is required. Experience working with the APAC region especially China and Australia is a plus;
  • Working knowledge of transfer pricing in a global environment.
  • Public accounting experience is ideal.
  • Hands-on experience with VAT/GST.
  • Good communication and organization skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional, optimistic, perform well in a fast-paced environment and function well under pressure.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergoes all corporate or professional training events as required by and agreed upon with the Global Financial Controller
