Sirtex is currently seeking a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to aid the business in the areas of financial analysis, corporate planning and special projects and proactively partnering with the business to provide insights and analysis to help drive business performance.


  • Review the existing budget process, identify areas for improvement and implement an effective budget process, including the implementation of a planning and reporting tool.
  • Lead the annual budget process, including preparation of presentations to executive leadership and Board of Directors.
  • Assist with the Company’s forecast process including rolling cashflow and operating profitability.
  • Responsible for commercial KPIs including sales and expense analysis.
  • Prepare monthly management committee reporting.
  • Develop and deliver in depth financial performance reporting, planning and forecasting to relevant stakeholders ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Identify opportunities and help realize efficiencies as part of continuous improvement.
  • Provide support on ad hoc financial analyses, including cost initiatives, business cases and scenario analysis.
  • Lead project-based activities on financial business strategies as required.
  • Assist with Treasury and Insurance related matters as required.
  • Ad-hoc projects assigned.

Educational Prerequisites and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business is required. CPA or CFA qualification or equivalent is ideal.
  • At least 8 years relevant work experience, ideally in a medical device company.
  • Strong business acumen with business partnering knowledge
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills and data analytics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to changes to comply to systems, policies and procedures.
  • Could demonstrate a track record in building relationships and networks internally and externally.
