Toxikon Corporation, originally founded in 1977, is a Contract Research and testing company with laboratories in Bedford, MA. Toxikon is looking for a self-motivated and quality focused individual to join our In-Vitro team. The successful candidate will work hand in hand with our study directors, quality assurance and sponsors/clients to ensure all study aspects are conducted per scientific and regulatory standards. Highly motivated individuals will have an advancement track through the department. This position is an integral component of a fast paced environment. You will be joining a rapidly growing team and will be selected based on both experience/aptitude and a dynamic personality.
The work is focused on in vitro testing of medical devices and pharmaceutical products. The techniques used encompass cell culture, genetic toxicology assays, ELISA, and protein detection. Studies are conducted under numerous guidelines, protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Execution of the study protocol per all study design plans and SOPs related to study conduct.
- Candidates must be able to work efficiently in the lab while maintaining a high level of attention to detail to guarantee regulatory acceptance of experimental records.
- Experience with cell culture greatly required.
- Excellent communication skills needed as this position works closely with other research associates, scientists, and regulatory affairs.
- B.S. in a scientific area
