Program Operations & Office Manager, Health Commercialization

VentureWell is growing and is seeking a Program Operations & Office Manager who is interested in working with emerging programmatic opportunities in the healthcare field, with a focus on the development of new breakthrough capabilities, technologies, systems, and platforms to accelerate innovation in health and medicine. VentureWell serves as the Consortium Management Firm for the ARPA-H Investor Catalyst Hub, a groundbreaking health innovation network.The Investor Catalyst Hub scales health research and venture investment ecosystem capabilities, disrupt traditional care models, create new delivery pathways, and help performers bring game-changing solutions to market to solve big problems in health. Specifically, our role in this new collaboration will include (1) helping to grow a network of biotech-related commercialization partners, (2) working with staff and program managers to create, design and implement new projects and ideas and (3) working to successfully execute the projects as designed.

This Program Operations & Office Manager will be based out of our Cambridge office.

Responsibilities:

Office Management:

  • Welcome staff and visitors to VentureWell’s Cambridge, MA office
  • Covering VentureWell’s ARPA-H phone line
  • Ensuring VentureWell’s office is clean and organized for staff and visitor use
  • Distribution of mail to staff
  • Receiving packages, assisting staff with outgoing mail
  • Assist with the with the selection, order, and maintain an inventory of swag items and staff and partner gifts
  • Assist ARPA-H team members with ad hoc projects, as needed

Program Operations:

  • Perform administrative tasks, including managing marketing email inbox (including corresponding with contacts), scheduling meetings, and maintaining team calendars
  • Proofread copy for accuracy
  • Perform research and build outreach contact lists (media and institutional) for editorial and program promotion
  • Provide light graphic design support such as creating PowerPoint presentations, resizing graphics, formatting copy, and sourcing photography

What You Bring:

  • At least 2 years of operations and office management experience
  • Excellent contingency-planning skills
  • Experience with virtual, hybrid, & in-person collaborative work
  • Impressive portfolio of previously managed events
  • Experience using Zoom, Asana, Google suite, Zoom, Salesforce
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Ability to build productive, collaborative business relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects autonomously

Our Benefits:

  • An attractive and equitable compensation package, including: 
    • a salary range of $70-$80k commensurate with experience and internal equity
    • 403 (b) with 200% match up to a maximum contribution from VentureWell of 10% when the employee puts it 5% (eligible after one year of service for the match)
