 Operational & Organizational Transformation Managing Director (Life Sciences Industry)

 Position Summary

 The Operational & Organizational Transformation Managing Director is responsible for leading business process analysis, requirements definition efforts for remediating gaps, cost and cycle time analysis/remediation, and the communication and change management required to ensure the success of our clients.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple client service delivery teams in the active execution of engagements to help ensure compliance with firm and practice unit service delivery standards
  • Utilize technical and financial operation/transformation knowledge to identify complex client issues, broaden client relationships and develop a reputation as a thought leader
  • Perform accurate analysis and design effective solutions for a variety of client issues 
  • Maintain a good working relationship with clients and work effectively with client management and staff at all levels to gather information and perform services
  • Communicate (verbally and in writing) externally with clients and internally with all levels of the organization to successfully accomplish objectives 
  • Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management 
  • Interview campus and/or experienced candidates
  • Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization)
  • Lead  and support business development activities, such as identification, proposal development and other pursuit activities at clients.
  • Mentor and develop Associates, Senior Associates and Managers
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field required. Advanced degree and/or certification preferred. 
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in a consulting role serving cross-industry clients at a national level, or relative experience within industry
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to perform quantitative analysis and develop business cases.
  • Process analysis, Reporting & Business Intelligence, Data Analysis & Reconciliation.
  • Extensive experience in the life sciences (pharmaceutical or medical device) industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills.
